It was summer at last, and I did not object at Sharian´s suggestion we headed towards the coast for our next field trip. We arrived at the stilted beach village as the sunset was ending, the last rays of the day shinning over the tropical sea´s turquoise waters. The palm trees festooning the village main street glowed in response to the last of the sun´s rays, an almost psychedelic contrast of colors from the glowing stems and inner veins of the broad palm adorning the hot, humid summer street as if it was reading for a night party.
