This is a new charity fair that is starting up and is looking for brands that want to participate.
Please read the information and encourage you to participate, SL always needs more events like this, but they need the support of the brands and bloggers.
It’s only once a year, it doesn’t require that much effort, and the grain of sand contributed many times can make a difference
Read the original post and get all the information, and please, think about being a part of this type of event from time to time, not just getting money for yourself.
Many of us cannot offer much help to associations in real life, because perhaps we already have too many limitations to live our own life, and I think that the opportunity that SL offers us to help others who are surely more in need than we who we are sitting in front of a computer either having fun, earning a living or whatever… but it is a great opportunity to be able to contribute a small grain of sand, which does not require so much effort in SL, but certainly helps. ..
Stop thinking that ALL charity events are a fraud, there are MANY that are HONEST, have legal certificates that endorse them and which you can make sure are real or not, but they can’t do much because they have NO brand support.
Also stop thinking.. "awww but that cause doesn’t affect or worry me.." stop being selfish and naive as hell, you never know what can happen to you tomorrow, or to one of your loved ones… nobody, absolutely nobody, we are immune to misfortunes and needs
Forget ME not Fair is a shopping fundraising event to benefit the OMF (Open Medicine Foundation) which conducts leading research in ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis), Long Covid, Fibromyalgia and related chronic conditions.
*I’m not harshly criticizing everyone.. these are just ideas that cross my mind and that are true in SOME cases, sorry if I seem rude ><
