This forest was not like the rest we had visited… nowhere to be felt was the solace and peace, sense of life and regeneration you get at a healthy environment. Instead, a sense of dread permeated the stagnant air, heavy with the smells of decaying things. A big fleshy growth with a maw-like flower grew in the shadow of a dead tree…. its tongue-like petals even had teeth shaped thorns, and instead of a floral fragrance the odor of rotting meat wafted from it. "That, dear lad, is a Gorgon Lily… unsavory plant originated from the Shadow Realm. I would strongly advise against sampling its fruit".
